April 22 is Earth Day! On Earth Day people help pick up trash. Helping the Earth by picking up trash and planting trees is a great way to keep the Earth clean and healthy. On Earth Day don’t cut down trees or pollute the water. So if your walking through a park and you happen to see trash on the ground pick it up and through it away.
Earth is special every day so keep picking up trash and planting new trees, then our Earth will be a better place to live on each day!
We have been exploring websites for kids. There are many websites out on the internet that kids learn, explore, connect with other kids, and play!
My choice is a website that games, videos, stories, activities, people and places, photos and facts about animals.
I like it because I love to explore with different animals and learn different facts.

We have been working on book talks for our Holmes Book Fair. I read and wrote a book talk for Bad Kitty Gets a Bath by Nick Bruel. It is fiction and is about a bad kitty who does not like to take baths.

I have a book baggie book that i can read independently. I want to share some information with you about my book. The title of my book is Princess. It is written by Ellen Miles. The story is about a grandma that spoils her puppy too much and soon she needs someone to foster princess. Theres always a family that can help foster puppies. The next day the grandma brings Princess to the family that will foster her. The grandma also gives the family a big list of things to do for Princess. The family is still trying to make Princess unspoiled. This story takes place in lizzy’s house. One of my favorite characters is Princess because she is a cute little puppy and I love puppies! I would recommend this book because most people like dogs and this one is about one.
January 19th was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15th 1929 and killed on April 4 1968. He did a speech on August 28 1963. His speech was I have a dream speech. My class did a I have a dream speech too. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very important person. I know that you should not judge people by the color of their skin but the content of their character. Martin Luther King Jr. day is still an important day.Now you can listen to my dream speech.
In November the 4th grade went to the Spring Lake Aquatic Center. We had so much fun. We did exercising for some of the time and then we had free time for the rest of the time. I was in the lazy river most of the time. When we were done swimming and changing, most of us came out with our towels wrapped on our heads. It was a great time!
